The government-wide SDVOSB prime contracting goal now stands at 5% — $32.5 billion awarded in FY25 — and certified small manufacturers that also carry ITAR registration and ISO 9001:2015 discipline are scarce. If you hold a federal contract above the subcontracting-plan threshold, your plan carries SDVOSB goals under FAR 52.219-9 — and since December 22, 2024, only spend with SBA-certified SDVOSBs counts. Self-certified suppliers no longer qualify. Rigid Concepts is certified, so qualifying machining packages placed with us report cleanly, and we’ll support your eSRS/ISR documentation. We’re accustomed to prime flow-downs: ITAR technical-data controls, first-article inspection, certificates of conformance, and full lot traceability.
