One thing AS9100D does not do is approve individual parts. The certification covers our quality management system — how we plan, make, inspect, and deliver. Each part is still accepted against your drawing, your PO, and your inspection requirements.

What we machine under the certified system
The scope of registration — engineering services plus CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly — covers the whole job, not just the cutting. In practice, that includes:
- 5-axis CNC machining of multi-face geometry in a single setup, which keeps re-fixturing error out of tight feature-to-feature tolerances
- CNC turning with live tooling for shafts and multi-feature round parts
- Aerospace alloys — titanium, Inconel, stainless, and aluminum — with mill certs traceable to heat
- Engineering support from a licensed engineering firm, with DFM input inside the same certified system
- Fabrication and assembly, so multi-part builds ship from one accountable source
- Finishing — anodize, chem film, passivation, plating — run as controlled outside processes with your specs flowed down

Yes. First-article inspection reports (FAIR) are available when your program requires them, along with in-process inspection, material certs, and certificates of conformance. If your PO flows down a specific FAI format such as AS9102, note it on the RFQ and we’ll build it into the job plan.
